Dr. William T. Lewis

Dr. Lewis is co-founder of the Intersection, an author of the award-winning book, Sweet Potato or Pumpkin Pie: Conversations with My White Friends about Race, a sought-after keynote speaker, and president of Willhouse Global. Lewis supports his fifteen-year-old son’s business, CAM’S Coffee Co., as the Chief Executive Gopher (CEG). CAMS was created to provide supportive employment for individuals with disabilities.

Lewis proudly served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves (1990-1996)

Tess Sekhar

Tess Sekhar is a seasoned leader in people and culture development, with expertise ranging from talent recruitment to employee engagement. She holds an MBA from Wake Forest University, where she built a strong foundation in business and leadership. Tess has shaped organizational success as the Director of People & Talent Strategies for a state-wide contractor, focusing on creating environments where teams thrive. At The Intersection, she continues her passion for fostering positive workplace cultures. Tess enjoys cooking, sewing, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Arjun, and their two daughters.

Drew Hancock

In addition to being a co-founder of The Intersection, Drew also serves as Vice Chair of the Wake Forest Center for Private Business. Prior to those roles, Drew served Blum Construction for 40 years in various capacities including President and CEO. In the last chapter of his career at Blum, Drew focused exclusively on helping to develop and implement innovative ways to attract, grow, retain and maximize the performance of great talent.
